Scandi Pied-A-Terre
Set within the adaptive re-use of a historic heritage high school transformed into a multi-dwelling residence, this project focused on the custom design of our clients’ unit. From the earliest stages, we worked closely with the clients and builder to shape the layout and interiors, creating a home that feels both contemporary and connected to its architectural context.
Honouring our clients’ love for Scandinavian arts and design, we embraced a minimal, modern aesthetic enriched with considered moments of colour—most notably a bespoke copper range hood, sculptural lighting, and a custom stained glass window designed to reflect the exterior views from their unit. Streamlined millwork, refined furniture silhouettes, and a calm, neutral palette provide balance, allowing materiality, light, and subtle contrasts to define the space.
Pictured above are custom copper and powder coated matte black ceiling pendants and an original stained glass transom window we had designed for the unit by a local stained glass artist.
