Justine Alexandra Design

Founded by Justine Alexandra Dunk, the studio creates layered, atmospheric interiors that feel collected rather than decorated. Drawing from art, architecture, and craftsmanship, each project seeks to balance historical character with contemporary living, resulting in homes that feel both deeply personal and enduring.

With a particular focus on comprehensive residential renovations, the studio is known for thoughtfully transforming existing homes—preserving what gives them character while reimagining their interior spaces for modern living. An emphasis on bespoke detailing, artisanal materials, and careful curation results in interiors that feel refined, lived-in, and rich with narrative.

Justine’s perspective is informed by studies in Art History at Queen’s University and Interior Design at Toronto Metropolitan University, as well as further study in Venice, Italy and at Willowbank School of Restoration Arts. Together, these experiences continue to shape an interior design approach rooted in craftsmanship, materiality, and a fascination with how interiors evolve over time.

The studio undertakes residential interior projects throughout Canada and internationally. Its work has been featured in House & Home, Rue Daily, Maclean’s, and The Wall Street Journal.
